Dr. Jose M. Borrego Acosta is a board-certified physician with extensive international and U.S. medical experience in ophthalmic surgery, family medicine, and emergency medicine. He received his medical education at the University of Buenos Aires and completed graduate medical training at CEMIC, a Baylor-affiliated institution in Argentina. He completed his residency and became an eye surgeon at age 26, later earning board certification and professional recognition in the European Union. In 2002, Dr. Borrego Acosta relocated to the United States, completing his U.S. residency in 2009 and becoming board-certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. He later completed advanced fellowship training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Oklahoma. He has practiced in Oklahoma and Texas for more than 15 years. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, he is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients and families.

Jeff, an APRN-BC, is an Honors Graduate from Georgetown University, Washington, DC. He started his nursing career in 1996, has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner since 2014 & has successfully treated clients with Absolutely Thin since 2016. Jeff helps his clients live their best lives through Medically-Supervised Weight Loss, lifestyle & performance medicine. He has a high success rate helping his clients reach their goal weight, enjoy better health & a better life. In addition to treating your weight loss, he uses a multi-faceted approach to treat you as a whole person...helping you establish the following goals: Ideal body weight, dietary approach for sustained weight loss, daily calorie level with macro recommendations, a reasonable activity prescription, daily water intake & other wellness insights.
