After having worked in care of the elderly and post-acute care in New York, I moved to Georgia. My move brought me into a different field, consisting of anti-aging, weight loss, hormonal imbalance, and men's health. Hair restoration was also a service we offered, generally helping patients look their best. Despite this, weight loss has always attracted the majority of patients, many of whom visited the center I worked for just to spend a few minutes with me. This doesn't mean I am special, but I suppose the honesty and the positive energy got around! My work is not done, and I'll continue to help patients develop better and healthier habits, extending longevity and improving their quality of life.

The provider has been a Nurse Practitioner, over 15 years of healthcare experience with a high achievement orientation and track record of exceptional patient care. She is a native of Georgia where she has pursued her passion for Health, Wellness, and Aesthetics as evidenced by her well-rounded clinical education and experience. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her career in nursing has fueled her desire to help the healthy stay well and become an example of health and wellness for her patients. She joined the Absolutely Thin team poised to make a positive impact on the health and wellness of the lives in her community. Her goal is to help patients not only improve their health and quality of life through wellness medicine but improve self-confidence and self-worth.

Dr. Eddie Turner earned his BS in Biology from Savannah State University and his MD from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by a Primary Care Research Fellowship and MPH coursework at UNC–Chapel Hill, and a Health Policy Leadership Fellowship at Morehouse School of Medicine. He has received multiple honors, including the AMA Foundation Leadership Award, AAFP/Bristol-Myers Squibb Excellence in Graduate Medical Education Award, and Baylor’s Outstanding Resident and House Staff Excellence in Teaching Awards. Dr. Turner has worked across Emergency, Family, Occupational, and Urgent Care Medicine, with a strong commitment to underserved communities. His focus includes healthy living and weight loss, guided by the belief that “A good doctor treats the disease; a great doctor treats the patient who has the disease.”
